Join ICOM-SA

ICOM-SA invites you to join the International Council of Museums (ICOM) to which more than 24 000 museum professionals in 150 countries belong. The South African National Committee of ICOM, one of 117 national committees world-wide, was recently resuscitated. This significant event marked the first time, since the dawn of democracy in this country and the end of the cultural boycott, that South Africa has officially re-joined the international museum community. Through joining ICOM-SA you will become part of an international organisation which is committed to the conservation, continuation and communication to society of the world's natural and cultural heritage, present and future, tangible and intangible.
